RFID Software
TrueVUE™ Essentials™ Mobile
Traditionally, RFID has been used by only a select number of individuals within
organizations and has been limited to use with fixed infrastructure like dock doors
and portals. This inherently limits the value that a particular solution can provide.
To provide better customer service through RFID, it is important that those who
directly interact with customers are the ones utilizing the technology to locate
product more effectively. To improve inventory management in environments where
smart shelving may not be practical, employees need to be equipped to rapidly undertake
a cycle counts, address misplaced or replenishment situations, or to identify out-of-stock
conditions.
TrueVUE™ Essentials™ Mobile arms front line professionals with the power of RFID,
ensuring that your organization achieves the maximum benefit from RFID on a wide variety of handheld mobile and CE based devices.
Inventory Cycle Count
Controls a handheld RFID reader to tally the number of tagged products quickly,
allowing companies or outside representatives to take frequent accurate inventory
counts.
- Works with handheld RFID devices to read inventory data.
- Configurable zones for inventory tracking.
- Provides audible cues when items are read.
- Provides visual feedback to the user, where inventory counts are “rolled up” and
described.
- Total Count is provided.
- Items inadvertently read can be removed from the inventory list prior to saving.
- Flexible saving options allow users to conduct a full inventory count (overriding
all previous data) or a partial inventory count (appending existing data).
- As the inventory is being counted, products that are misplaced, expired, or nearly
expired will be brought to the attention of the user through visual icons. The user
can drill down into greater detail on any of these items.
Locate Product
Determines the current location of a specific product, or for similar products using
a variety of approaches, enabling sales personnel to serve customers faster and
with greater effectiveness.
-
Determine all known locations for a specific product and the quantity currently
available in each location.
-
Search for the locations of products with similar characteristics.
-
Provide search criteria through user selection, direct input, scanning a barcode,
or by reading a RFID tag.
-
Customer-defined search criteria can be used to locate items. Additionally, users
can search by SKU, description, product category, or manufacturer.
-
Wildcard searching allows the user to enter only a portion of a search string and
still retrieve the correct results.
-
Companies can determine which search criteria are available to their users, and
which are not.
Improve On-Floor Availability
A series of sales execution reports designed to support personnel in maximizing
the availability of products - driving revenues up and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Misplaced items reporting identifies items that are not where they should be, and
provides the information needed to correct their location.
- Replenishment reporting provides the information required to replenish fixtures
to optimal levels.
- Live inventory reporting provides visibility into current inventory levels.
- Out of stock reporting provides visibility into products that are not available
in the building.
- Filtering allows users to view results for only a particular location.
- The data shown in the reports includes data collected from all VUEPoints attached
to the TrueVUE Platform, including handheld readers, smart shelves, dock doors,
impact doors, points of sale, and more.
Multiple Device Support
TrueVUE Essentials Mobile runs on several Pocket PC devices, including devices equipped
with RFID readers and others that are not.
- Runs on handheld RFID reader devices
- Runs on non-RFID enabled Pocket PC devices
- Based upon the device that TrueVUE Essentials Mobile is running on, the software
will enable or disable the cycle count feature (cycle count is available only when
a RFID reader is present).
