
Robert Locke, CEO. Robert joined Vue in February 2004 while the Company was a division of MeadWestvaco (MWV). He led management through a revision of the Company’s strategy and a spin out into an independent entity in August 2005. Robert brings over 25 years of experience in operations, finance and M&A to his role at Vue. He has held a number of executive and entrepreneurial positions including CEO of PrintNation, Venture Partner at J.P. Morgan Capital, and Founder of Kelmscott Communications. Early in his career Robert spent 6 years in sales and marketing with IBM, including 4 years with IBM Retail Store Systems. Robert graduated with distinction from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics.

John Laskey, CFO. John joined Vue in June 2007. He brings over
25 years of multi-national financial management and administration experience in
both public and private technology companies. John was most recently Executive Vice
President and CFO for MSC.Software Corporation, a global provider of enterprise
simulation solutions to large manufacturing organizations. Prior to MSC.Software
John was CFO of Webplan, Inc. (now Kinaxis), Quest Software, and Continuus Software
and the VP Finance and Principal Accounting Officer at FileNet Corporation. John
has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and a BSEE from the University of Illinois.

Richard Campero, PhD, CTO. Rich has served as Vue’s technology leader from its inception and has been the lead architect and designer of Vue’s hardware and software platform. He was co-founder of the Intelligent Systems division in 2001. Rich previously focused on new product development, process improvement, and product enhancement for MeadWestvaco Corporation. He holds one U.S. patent for an inventory management system employing RFID and has numerous patents pending in the field of RFID hardware and software systems.

Tim von Kaenel, SVP Product Management & Business Development. Tim brings over 18 years experience as a senior-level executive in the high tech industry. He was CTO of Questerra and a founding member and Senior VP of Research and Development at Encryptix, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stamps.com, where he served as Senior VP of Research and Development. Tim holds two U.S. patents for wireless broadcast and information services and has numerous patents pending in the field of wireless broadcast and secure transaction processing.

Gordon Adams, SVP Sales. Most recently, Gordon was VP, West Regional Manager for the ITO business of ACS, a market leader in Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Prior to ACS, Gordon spent over 17 years with EDS where he held positions as Senior Sales Executive in the multinational marketing group, Division VP of Sales and Marketing for the Personal Communications strategic business unit (SBU), and General Manager for Customer Relationship Management services (CRM) within the High Tech SBU. In January 2000, Gordon became EDS’ VP and Client Executive, southern California. Before joining EDS, he spent over four years with IBM.

Paul Rasband, PhD, VP RFID Strategy. While at Westvaco Corporation, Paul was author of gap analyses and strategic investigations in smart packaging, RFID tags, and RFID infrastructure, and was co-founder of the Intelligent Systems division in 2001. Paul’s experience in the RFID industry includes intense involvement in MIT’s Auto ID Center and EPCglobal. He is also the author of several key patents in advanced antenna networks and network management systems. Paul received his PhD in chemical engineering and materials science from Cornell University (electronic materials and devices emphasis).

Aravind Yarlagadda, VP, Engineering. Aravind has over 15
years of software development and management experience, having held senior engineering
management positions at Quest Software, IBM Rational and Oracle Corporation. He
managed key infrastructure product lines in his previous positions with responsibility
for the product management, development, testing, documentation and release management
functions. Aravind has two patents pending for distributed file system and transaction
processing. With a solid track record of building strong engineering teams and the
associated process infrastructure for success, he is responsible for the software
engineering aspects of the Vue Technology platform. Aravind holds a Masters in Computer
Science, and an MBA in Technology Management.

Frank Velasco, VP Finance. Velasco brings over 22 years of senior level finance and controller experience across a breadth of organizations. Prior to joining Vue, Velasco was corporate controller with SMC Networks, a $140 million provider of networking solutions located in Irvine, California. Velasco’s earlier experience spanned a number of sizable organizations, each with annual sales in excess of $100 million.
