History
Vue Technology was started in 2001 as Intelligent Systems, a division of MeadWestvaco (MWV). The company has been working exclusively on solutions which enable item-level RFID since its inception. In August of 2005, a majority interest in Intelligent Systems was sold to Partech International and Caanan Partners. MeadWestvaco retained a minority interest in the company and continues to hold a seat on the board. The name was changed to Vue Technology, Inc. when the transaction occurred.
